Used Jamis Aurora for sale in CT

I am indeed selling a Jamis Aurora in CT for $800. It is in practically new condition.
.

I bought it last summer to commute to work and two months later my scheduled changed and I got a second job that did not allow me leisurely hour long commutes back and forth to work each day.  Since last October it has been used just a handful of times for quick trips. This spring I brought it in for it's tune-up and it has not been driven since.  I bought it new from Cheshire Cycle.

With the exception of some normal scratches from putting it on and off a bike rack there are no issues with it.  It did start raining when I was taking pictures, those are raindrops in the pic not scuffs.

And nothing that detracts from it's beauty!  As you can see below you have to get up close to see it.

The bike is awesome.  If you made it here, you have probably read the reviews on it and you don't need me to convince you that it is a terrific bike.  There are two things I will point out that the reviews did not tell me.  First, it is an unbelievably smooth ride.  Sometimes I think it is smoother than my mountain bike on the road.  Secondly, if you are considering commuting or doing long distances, you really do not want a road bike, you want a touring bike.  I could not believe how comfortable it was from day one.  I also commute up and down some serious hills.  We're talking big hills.  I have now problem with the gearing.  Low enough to climb, high enough so that I can keep pedaling down hill--something I could not do while commuting on my mountain bike.

I am 6', 215 pounds and it fits me perfectly.

I do have enormous feet and so one of the pedal straps is a bit frayed from rubbing against the crank.  Yes my feet are too big for cycling shoes!

It is a super bike.  The salesperson had one that he used for cyclocross races and he let me ride his on an extended ride before deciding.  After I did, I immediately ruled out a regular road bike. I have been on trips up to 40 miles, and commuted 13 miles each way to work on and off for a month.  I finally decided to sell it and put the money into a mountain bike upgrade instead of letting it sit unused.

If I keep the bike, I know that in a four or five years when my schedule goes back to normal and the kids are moved out of the house that I will have an awesome bike to start commuting on again so I am not that interested in coming down on the price.
